George Sinkler Obituary

SINKLER , George On December 26, 2012; George Sinkler , Professor of History, emeritus, at Morgan State University, in Baltimore, MD, passed away in the comfort of his home during the early morning. He had turned 85 years old just three days earlier. After retiring in 1988, he continued to be an active member of the United Methodist Church. He was also an avid fisherman and gardener. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife sixty three years, Albertha; his three children Gregory, Kenneth, and Georgette; daughter-in-law Debra, grandchildren Tonya, Timothy, and Tiffanie and great grandson Kenneth.
On Wednesday, services for Dr. Sinkler will be held at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM with services to follow. Inquiries to (410) 433-7500.
