Georgette M. (Griffith) Druckenmiller, 75, wife of Ronald L. Druckenmiller, Black Rock Rd., Upper Providence Twp., Montgomery Co., PA, died Monday, September 30, 2024, at Arcadia At Limerick Pointe, Limerick Twp., PA

Georgette was born on September 16, 1949, in Abington Twp., PA, and was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Georgette M. (O'Neill) Griffith. She graduated from Spring-Ford High School, Royersford, PA and earned a BA in English from Ursinus College.

Georgette retired from the Ursinus College Advancement Office. She previously taught at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, Great Valley School District, and Phoenixville School District.

Georgette was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Phoenixville where she was active in the choir, a member of the New Member Ministry and various other committees. She was the first women to serve as a supervisor of Upper Providence Township. She loved painting especially landscapes and nature subjects. She was an avid walker no matter the weather. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of a book club for over twenty years and loved reading. Georgette also loved spending time at her home on the island of Nevis.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, Georgette is survived by her sons, Andrew, husband of Megan (Atkins) Druckenmiller, Collegeville, PA, Peter, husband of Katie (Shearer) Druckenmiller, Royersford, and James, husband of Arianna (Brewer) Druckenmiller, Harleysville, PA; her grandchildren, Hannah Druckenmiller, William Druckenmiller, Grace Druckenmiller, Susette Druckenmiller, Niklaus Druckenmiller, and Joseph Druckenmiller; and her brother, Brady, husband of Donna (Dorse) Bryner, Juniata, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Griffith.

Georgette's funeral service will be at Noon, Saturday, October 5th, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 121 Church St., Phoenixville, PA 19460, with the Rev. Samuel Kirabi Ndungu, Rector, officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 to 11:45 AM, Saturday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe, PA
