Geraldine C. "Gerry" Booth of Newark, N.J., formerly of Scotch Plains, N.J., died on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011. Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at Woody "Home For Services", 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange, N.J. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Newark. Geraldine was the devoted mother of Claudia L. Watkins (Harold Allen), Myra D. Booth, Lois D. Booth, Gregory Booth (Althia) and the late Sharee Smith; devoted sister of Shirley Bradley (John), Louise Booth, Irene Roberts (Harry), Bernard Booth (Naomi), and the late Langston Booth Sr. (Catherine). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, godson, Shamill Floyd, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
