Gerard Exilhomme was born on June 23, 1938, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and passed away on February 12, 2025, in Long Beach, New York.

Gerard dedicated his career to working as an airplane mechanic, a profession that reflected his skill and precision. Beyond his work, he had a deep love for numbers and found great joy in playing dominoes and cards. His sharp mind and strategic thinking made him a formidable player and a cherished companion at the game table.

Gerard is survived by his children: Marie Francois, Edwin Exilhomme, Marie Geralda Exilhomme, and Micheal Exilhomme; his sisters Cecilia Dorcely and Solange Exilhomme; and his grandchildren Amina Exilhomme, Ariel Francois, and Brianna Francois. He was predeceased by his sisters Beta Major, Madeline Prince, and Bouti Camille.

A funeral mass will be held on March 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church, located at 2900 Newkirk Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226. Prior to the service, a viewing will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Andrew Torregrossa Funeral Home at 2265 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11234. The cemetery service will follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, located at 833 Jamaica Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208.
