Gertrude S. Tatusko
Gertrude S. Tatusko, 82, of Ridge Street in Lansford, died June 29 in Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Michael Tatusko. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on May 11.
Prior to retiring in 1993, she worked at the former Purling Mills in Tamaqua, after previously working for the former Atlas Powder Company in Reynolds.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Kleckner) DeLong.
She was a member of St. Mary Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale, and a 1951 graduate of Mahanoy City High School.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Michael Tatusko and his wife, Virginia, of Nesquehoning; a daughter, Faith, wife of Paul Orsulak of West Penn Township; grandchildren, Jamie, wife of Russell White of Nesquehoning, Laura, wife of Paul Derlunas of Allentown, Megan Orsulak-Tolbert and her husband, Jason, in Alabama and Paul Orsulak of West Penn; great grandchildren, Gunner White, Penelope Derlunas and Henderson Derlunas; brothers, William DeLong and his wife, Shirley, of Lake George, N.Y. and Franklin Kleckner and his wife, Mary, of Palmerton; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack DeLong.
Service: 11 a.m., Tuesday, St. Mary Russian Orthodox Church, 217 First St., Coaldale, with the Rev. Ignatius Gauvain officiating. Interment, parish cemetery, Summit Hill.
