Gilles PATENAUDE Obituary
Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Friday March 14, 2014 at the age of 84. Dear son of the late Laura (nee St-Amour) and the late Paul Patenaude. Dearly beloved husband of Lorette Patenaude (nee DeGuire). Dear father of Marc Patenaude, Louis Patenaude, Vincent Patenaude (Christie McLeod) and Mathieu Patenaude (Adela Ciuloi). Cherished grandfather of Éric (Marie- Lou), Martin (Annie), Amelia, Paul, Camille, Rachelle, Danielle, Jonathan and Stéfane and great-grandfather of Merika and Lauralee. Dear brother of Jean-Paul (Léa) and Paulette Faulkner (late Henri). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Gisèle and Lilliane, and brothers, Donald and Gaston. Family and friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Jacques Roman Catholic Church, 1041 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to the family. Gilles was a good man. I remember when I first met him how kind and gentle he was. We had many chats about everything the days I lived at the farm I will always cherish. I will miss him very much.
