Mom, the world has lost a true gem but heaven has gained a masterpiece. To me you have always been and will always be the best Mom in the world. I remember you working one, two or three jobs to keep food on the table and still finding time to cook dinner or take Julie and me to all our school functions. Through all our family's trials and tribulations you managed to keep a smile on your face and sometimes even managed your famous frog smile. I envision you pain free playing the piano and Grandma playing the harmonica in heaven, surrounded by your family, friends and God, while eating all the chocolate you can eat. Although I have mixed feelings of sadness as you will be sorely missed. I know you are in heaven so I'm happy, exuberant and want to celebrate your new beginning. I love you Mom!

To me you have been and will continue to be the best Mom in the world. I will always remember you as my hero and hope to share your love and compassion. I will remember the strong willed woman who worked 1 then 2 then 3 jobs to keep a roof over our head and somehow still made time to drive me or Julie to whatever school events we had scheduled. You always managed to keep a smile on your face and sometimes sneaking in a frog's smile. I imagine you in heaven, pain free, playing the piano while Grandma plays the harmonica. With all your relatives, friends and God listening intently. You will be missed and never forgotten. I love you dearly Mom. Thank you for being you!

I grew up with Glenda Fay attending Pahokee Elementary and High School. She had a lovely disposition and a great sense of humor. My fondest memories of those years were playing in the high school band where Glenda was a "high strutting majorette". My condolences to all of the family and friends.

Throoughout theyears, Glenda has been the sister I never had. We shared a lot of laughs and good times. Her and Richard made frequent visits to my home and to the beach nearby. I would always tell her "Love ya sweetie". I will miss her so much..That lady could play the piano!

I had the great pleasure of having Glenda as my mother-in-law for the last 20 years. She accepted me as part of the family eve before her daughter and I were married. Your piano playing abilities always amazed me. I thought of you as my second mom and I will miss you very much. I look forward to seeing you again in perfect health!
Until we meet again....

Aunt Glenda Faye. (I always knew you thusly. Now a term of endearment.)
I always loved you because you made it so easy to. You were my second favourite aunt, very closely following Aunt Ina. I thrilled at watching you out on the football field, at Pahokee High School, during half tyme when the band took the field and you were amongst the baton twirling majorettes.
Your piano playing was so serene, angelic depending on the kind of music.
Though it was irksome when y'all moved away to the Orlando area and away from where I could visit oftener, I got over it and got used to it.
I never stopped loving you and now, you are and forever shall be, a part of my memory.
R.I.P. Aunt Glenda Faye.

Such a sweet lady we have only known for a short time, since Vance married our daughter Staci. She always treated us like we had been friends forever. Such a lovely lady. She will be missed.

Mom,
Thank you so much for loving me unconditionally for the past 51 years. You have always been my hero, my inspiration and now you are my special angel. I appreciate all the sacrifices that you have made for me. You are no longer in pain and I'm so grateful for that, but I miss you like crazy. I will do everything I can to take care of Richard. What a reunion you must be having in heaven with your daughter Kim, your parents and siblings. I love you Mom!
