GREENSBORO — Glenn Lancaster resided his life on Sunday evening, March 29, 2009, at his home.
Homecoming services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Evangel Fellowship Church, 2207 East Cone Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27405.
Glenn, born in Edge Cone County, North Carolina, February 2, 1943, was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church at 2201 Sharp Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.
He worked at Pepsi Cola Co. in 1964, and moved on to Carolina Concrete Co., and became the proud owner of Budget Concrete Inc. for 35 years.
Survivors include his lovely wife, Mildred Lancaster; three sons, Antonio Walden I (Greensboro), Jimmy Walden, Sr. (Greensboro) and Antonio (Dirty Red) Petty (Chattanooga, Tenn.) There are six grandchildren, Jimmy Walden, Jr. (Kimmerly) (High Point), Antonio Walden, II (Greensboro), Brianna Walden (Jacksonville, Fla.), Annasha Walden (High Point), Jordan and Joshua Weaver Walden; also two great-grandchildren; cousins, Barbara Gene Thomas, Larry Walker, Therman and Louise Highsmith, Little Bay (Gene); a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
Viewing will be from 1 until 2 p.m. with family greeting from 1:30 until 2 p.m.

Words cannot express how sorry I am about Glenn.I know that God will hold you in his arms and dry every tear. Just know that he said " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you..." My prayers are with you. Will stop by soon.
