Glenn MACDONALD Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Mar. 23, 2018.
MACDONALD, Glenn
With much sadness we announce the loss of our beloved Glenn. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barb; his sons, Shawn and Jordan; his stepchildren, Deana, Heather and Tony; his sister, Kathy and many grandchildren. Glen grew up in Vancouver, BC, and spent the rest of his life in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows area where he made many good friends. He was a supervisor at Canadian Freightways for over 30 years, finding time to "walk on the wild side" driving taxi on weekends for Alouette Cabs. More recently, Glenn enjoyed his work at the Friends in Need Food Bank where he often got to drive the "big truck". He will be remembered for his love of family, kindness, dry wit and zest for life. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Monday, March 26, at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969-216 Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA are appreciated. Condolences may be sent to
