Gloria King-Trainor Obituary

Gloria E. King-Trainor, 59, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Hebron and Columbia, beloved wife of Robert E. Trainor, died Saturday, (December 21, 2002) in Ellenton. She was born Aug. 6, 1943 in Houlton, ME, daughter of Ellen Louise (Crandlemire) King of Brewer, ME and the late Robert Alexander King. She worked for approximately 20 years in banking in Connecticut and later worked with Hospice in Vernon. She moved to Ellenton, FL from Columbia in June of 1999. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Craig Chicoine of New Haven, and Andy Chicoine of California; two stepsons, Mark A. Trainor and his wife, Teresa of Columbia, and Michael S. Trainor and his wife, Sherri of Loxahachee, FL; six grandchildren, Andre Budnick of Inverness, FL, Gina, Daniel and Michael Marcantonio of Columbia and Amanda and Ryan Trainor of Loxahachee, FL. She also leaves three brothers, Dave King and his wife, Sarah of Social Circle, GA, Darrell King and Robert King of Eddington, ME; a special aunt, Ella Welton of Houlton, ME; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. in the West St. Cemetery in Columbia. Friends are invited to call Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St., Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, 06450-1004.
