GLORIA MCCLAIN
LIMA — Gloria "Jean" McClain, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2015, at 1:45 pm, at the Lost Creek Care Center.
Jean was born July 6, 1931 in Lima, OH, to Herman P. and Doris (Stroube) Rousculp who preceded her in death. On September 24, 1950 she married Phillip C. McClain who survives in Lima.
Jean was a 1949 graduate of the Shawnee High School. She was a homemaker. Jean was a member of the Shawnee Alliance Church. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Jean will be remembered as being a very generous person and was dedicated to helping her family and children.
Jean is survived by 2 daughters; Sheri M Roby of Lima, OH and Deb (Phillip) Lee of Lima, OH, and a sister, Karen (Richard) Garden of Bowling Green, KY, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Donna (Monty) Stubbs and Carol (Max) Geesaman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Pastors Deb and Phil Lee.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum following the service.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Alliance Church.
Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com.
