Godfrey R. Paul, 87, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Godfrey and his wife, Josephine (Hammer), would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on Sept. 8th. Born December 17, 1934, in Coplay, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Yandrasits) Paul. Godfrey worked as a mixer at Tarkett for many years. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton. Godfrey honorably served his country in the U.S. Marines. In addition to his wife, Godfrey is survived by daughters, Rhonda Mickno and husband, Kenneth, and Sheila Paul, and granddaughter, Jessica. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17th at 11:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Nazareth. Online condolences may be offered at www.reichelfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation in loving memory of Godfrey.
