Gordon MacKinnon Obituary
Loved by all, Gordon treated everyone with respect and dignity and received it in return. Gordon enjoyed his work and the friends and colleagues he met through his many successful business ventures. He was an avid curler from his early teens through his mid 70's. His love of sport also led to sponsoring many amateur teams, notably the Calgary Giants baseball team, and the Cedar Kings fastball team in North Delta.
Gordon will be dearly missed by Judy, his wife of 33 years, and their blended family, Allen (Minda), Brent (Jolene), Cameron (Maggie), Koreen (Gerry), Kathy, and Kareen. He will also be missed by his eight grandchildren: Brianne, Heather, Kaylee, Kyler, Samantha, Connor, Aaron and Adrian. He is survived by Eva, Margaret, Murray, Ken, Ian (Lorraine), and Lorna (Jerry); as well as a very large extended family and many, many friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4th at 1:00pm at the Northwood United Church, 8855 - 156th Street in Surrey, BC. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.
