Grace Ellison Obituary
Age 74, on Sunday, December 23, 2007, of Whitehall, formerly of Sharpsville, PA. Beloved wife of 51 years to Charles E. Ellison; loving mother of Jennifer L. (Gary) Yost and Janine L. (Jeffrey) Nickel; proud grandmother of Lauren and Daniel Yost and Emily, Allison and Joseph Nickel; daughter of the late Louis Conrad Schmitt and Kathryn (Wheeler) Wolfe; sister of the late Jayne (Schmitt) Carson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and stepmother, Thelma Schmitt. Grace was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, an active member of TRIO and Whitehall United Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Whitehall United Presbyterian Church, 4935 East Wallace Rd., Pgh., PA 15236 or C.O.R.E., 204 Sigma Dr., RIDC Park, Pgh., PA 15238. Dear Jennifer & Family,
I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. Please know that others share in your grief. I pray that at this time of sorrow and in the days to follow that God will grant you all strength,peace and comfort. Know that your mom is in the arms of our Lord and will enjoy the light of paradise. May her memory be eternal. God Bless you all.
