GRACE MARGARET (SCHMITT)
On Wednesday, September 4, 2002, Grace Margaret (Schmitt) Vogel, age 78, of Bellevue. Wife of the late Felix Vogel; loving mother of Eileen (Donald) Leya of Hampton Twp; cherished grandmother of Jonathan (Valerie) Leya of Hampton, Christopher (Amy) Leya of Hampton, Matthew (Daneen) Leya of McCandless and Molly Leya Warnock of Hampton; very special great-grandmother of Daniel, Luke, Eric, Victoria, Jacob, Zachary and Rachel; sister of the late John (Marge) Schmitt of AZ, Marion (Emil) Tracy of Butler, Edna (Will) Deschenes of CA and Jane (the late Earl) Crummie of CA. Grace was retired from Palmers Restaurant, Downtown where she had been a waitress for over twenty-five years. She had a full and fun life in which she enjoyed Brandy Alexanders, watching sports and quilting. Friends invited Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the THE ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC. A GOLDEN RULE MEMBER FIRM. 1014 California Avenue Avalon, (North Boros). Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9 am in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue, where Grace had been a longtime member of both the church and the Christian Mothers.

I saw in the Assumption Bulletin that Grace had passed away. I am so sorry and you have my deepest sympathy. I was her neighbor in Bellevue for the past 2 years. Grace was a very sweet lady. She made me and my husband a University of Pittsburgh pillow when we first moved in. We though, what a thoughtful gesture from our new neighbor. I know she enjoyed when my Dad's dog "cookie" would visit us, Grace would always be giving Cookie snacks when she came to visit us.

We will miss Grace and her smiling face!

I just saw the notice on the internet and want to express my deepest sympathy. Your mom came to the funeral home when my mom died two years ago (Esther Benton) I remember coming to your house on Rothpletz Street as a little girl. My parents and yours were such good friends. Hopefully they're all playing cards and drinking beer together!
