Grayson Reynolds Obituary
Gretna……….Grayson Hunter Reynolds, age 20 of Gretna passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born February 1, 2002 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Barry Wayne Reynolds and Tina Carter Reynolds of Gretna. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Kirk Carter. Grayson was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and a carpenter with Rex Scott Construction. He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, hanging out with friends and working and keeping himself busy.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Nicholas Reynolds and wife, Tania of Gretna; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Margaret Reynolds of Gretna; maternal grandmother, Pat Carter of Altavista; aunts, Marsha Rittenhouse and husband, Scott of Danville, and Patsy Layne and husband Danny of Altavista; a special niece, Carter Grace Reynolds; and a special friend, Meagan Thacker of Hurt.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews and Ronnie Simpson. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his paternal grandparents, Eddie and Margaret Reynolds, 661 Dewberry Road, Gretna.

My heart goes out to your family, Tina and Barry. Grayson was such a polite, kind young man. The last time I saw him a few months ago, he said to my niece, "Love Ya, Ma". I was absolutely heartbroken when I learned of the tragic loss of sweet Grayson. Grayson was a dear friend to my great-grandson, Garry James. I feel as though I know him through talking with my great-grandson. Grayson appeared to always be so jolly and enjoyed life. Grayson was a wonderful friend to my great-grandson, Garry James Lukin. Garry James loved Grayson liked a brother. Our hearts are truly broken. Boo was so good to everyone, young and old. He would help anyone in need. He has helped Oscar and I so many times, all we had to do was call and he was there. Words cannot express my feelings when Melissa informed me of Grayson's passing. I was in the same location when she gave me the same type news seven years ago.
