GREGORY JEVARD GOODSON

Gregory Goodson DARLINGTON - Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Jevard Goodson, better known as "Gee-Money" of Darlington, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington with Rev. Dr. E.B. Burroughs, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in The Faith Memorial Gardens, directed by Jordan Funeral Home Inc. of Darlington. Mr. Goodson was born in Darlington County, a son of Charles E. and Gloria J. Rouse Goodson. He was a graduate of Mayo High School class of 1994, a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College, and attended S.C. State University. Mr. Goodson served three years in the U.S. Army, and six years in the National Guard. He was honorably discharged in 2004. Before he became ill, he was employed at Wellman Inc. Gregory was married to the former Ms. Katrina Davis. Survivors, in addition to his wife and parents include: his son, Jeqwantae Goodson; his step-children, Jovan Davis (Shalaunda), Tyree Davis, Tiffany, Storm, Maya and Benjamin; a grandmother, Gladys Rouse; a sister, Angela Goodson; a special nephew, Coby; a mother-in-law, Willie Mae Campbell; a brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; several nieces; several other nephews; two grandchildren; nine aunts; six uncles; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. The family is receiving friends at the residence, 649 Jamestown Ave., Darlington.
