Dad,
I always like Lily's of the Valley and the nice scent they leave.
Regardless I had no clue to the meaning of this nice flower till today.
The Lily of the Valley, also called the ladder to heaven and is the symbol of hope.
So, one day when it comes I will climb the ladder of the Lilly of the Valley to meet you in your garden of flowers.
With love and still miss you.
Ursula

I knew Gunter when he worked at C&H welding in Brooklyn Park. We lived next door on the Brooks farm. He was really nice to all of us kids and sometimes his jokes would make our work day a little brighter. He was a very kind man.

Sally, my sincere condolences on Gunter's passing. I remember about 30 years ago how you, me, Marc and Gunter would play cribbage on weekends. You guys taught me how to play. I play tournaments all over the USA now and have great fun doing it.

Thank you for the good times. Peace be with you I will keep you in my prayers.

Gunter was a customer of mine. Each fall he had me to his house to aerate the lawn.We were just there on October 9th. I got the tour of the flower gardens as well as a look at photos from a recent trip to Alaska. Gunter had me and my two helpers laughing like crazy...which was the norm on each trip to his house.
He was just a wonderful man and I will really miss him!

Dad,
Heaven couldn't be more happier having you up there.
You'll be busy having the prettiest flower garden all year round.
When thunder rolls I will know you are playing soccer and made a goal.
When I see a rainbow it will be a smile from you letting us know you are watching over us.
Dad, what can I say, I will miss you, take care and I love you.

Sally you have been a great friend for so many years and through so much in my life. I hope that I can be of help to you now during this sorrowful time. Gunter was so nice to me and a good friend and made me feel welcome in your family. He will always be thought of as being fun and kind, and a gentleman with a slightly off center sense of humor which made me love my best friends husband as a member of my own family. Sally I promise that any time you need me to be there, I will, even if it is just to remember all the good times and cry over that loss of future good times. He is with God and we know that he is in good company. Trust God and he will lead you as we both know. God is always with us and helps to comfort us and give us strength to live each day. You are strong and God will comfort you as only he can. God is already taking care of Gunter, let his comfort help you during this time of grief and sorrow. Gunter would not want your suffering. He had a wonderful life with you and you should take comfort in that.

Sincerest condolences Sally on your loss of Gunter. Cherish the memories of the good times traveling to soccer events, respecting "opponents", and challenging individual limits. Know that Gunter's efforts and yours have been very much appreciated.
