Guy Ronald GLOVER

June 7, 1933 – December 19, 2018 The treasured and mischievous son of Anna Eugenia Sloan Glover and Guy Reynolds Glover, devoted and dashing husband of Ginny Cerutti Glover, caring and present father of Kathy (Dan), Julie (Dan), Guy Michael (Niki), Susan (Adam), James Thaddeus (deceased), John (Michelle), Steven (Maura), doting and playful grandfather of Tony, Emma, Megan, Anna, Isabel, Michael, Ryan, Lucy, Lily, Teresa, Mara and Ruby (Kris), cousin to Elaine and John, passionate friend to so many wonderful people, and generous purveyor of table scraps to his four-legged family members, has died. Planter of trees, dispenser of advice and stories, veteran, soccer coach, feeder of birds, a wit, accomplished dabbler, consummate family man, gifted teaser, a deacon of the church, hospice volunteer and sheriff's chaplain, and one of Santa's best helpers. All this, and nobody made better Thanksgiving gravy—according to him. We are grateful beyond measure for the love our friends have poured out on him and us. And we thank you, GRG, for your love, your humor, and your example. Funeral Services will be at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lake St. Croix Beach, Dec. 27, 10:00 am.
