Guy Martin Francis, Jr Obituary
Martin graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga in 1972. There he was a star wrestler - becoming the first four-time state champion in Tennessee history. His record remained intact for twenty-five years.
Martin traveled the world during his career in the Air Force. Upon retirement from the Air Force, he was a member of the Air National Guard. His military service spanned three decades.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Knoxville, TN, on Saturday, July 23, at 11 AM. His body will be transported on Monday, July 25, to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN, for burial alongside his parents and paternal grandmother. Fr. Mike Nolan will conduct a graveside service at Mt. Olivet at 11 a.m., Monday, July 25. Friends are welcome to attend.

Many of his friends here from Tyndall AFB had asked others if they'd heard from Marty. So very sad today to hear he'd passed last month. We sadly lost touch when he retired and went to Tennessee. For his family please know we adored Marty and he enjoyed many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with us when he couldn't leave the area. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Marty ..we love you man.
