Vanest, Guy
58, of Paulden, AZ passed away on May 11, 2016. Born March 24, 1958 in Lakehurst, NJ to the late James and Madaline (VanSickle) Vanest, he spent his childhood and a good portion of his adult life in Canton, Ohio. He later moved to Phoenix Arizona where he worked for 16 years with the Arizona DES as a CSR/Case worker. He was preceded in death by his parents; His step father, Joseph Wyant; his son Liam and sister Pamela Suchocki. He is survived by sons Jeff (Mary) Vanest and Chris Vanest of Ohio, Deklan and Seamus Vanest of Massachusetts and Eamon Vanest of Arizona; daughters Sierra (James) Stratman of Kentucky and Siobhan Vanest of Arizona; 6 grandchildren Peyton, Jackson and Carter Vanest of Ohio and Serenity, Chayton & James (Jr) Stratman of Kentucky; Brother James Vanest of Ohio; 3 Sisters Diane Garlock of Michigan, Jo-Leen (Dan) Kuhn of Texas and Cynthia Kemper of Florida; many, nieces, nephews and cousins all of which he had a special bond with. His final wish was to donate his remains to science. No services are planned. In lieu of cards or flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

It's been a week and it still hasn't fully sunk in. I will miss our hours long phone calls but I know you are saving me a place in Heaven. (Just not too soon). I will miss you always. You were a terrific brother and a better friend. RIP Brother!! I love you!
