An expert sailor, a master of the Spanish language, and with an impeccable eye for art, he lived life to the fullest. His kindness, reliability, and loyalty endeared him to countless friends, some of whom he cherished for up to 50 years. His daughter Lyndsey Anne Reiniger, who tragically predeceased him at the age of 25, held a special place in his heart.
To those whose lives he touched, he left an indelible mark of warmth and generosity. A wonderful son, father, and companion, he will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering friendship, and zest for life.

Haigh Scott Reiniger passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 70, in Greenwood, South Carolina. Born on February 10, 1954, in New York, NY, he was the beloved son of the late Anne Gaetana and Haigh MacDiarmid Reiniger.

Haigh was a graduate of The Choate School and Bostom University, later attending Suffolk University Law School. He embarked on a diverse career, beginning as a stockbroker with Moors & Cabot, transitioning into entrepreneurship with Reincorp International, and culminating as a published author.

Known for living life to its fullest, Haigh was a man of many talents and interests. An expert sailor, a master of the Spanish language, and an aficionado of fine art, he also excelled in polo and fly fishing. His keen eye for art and his adventurous spirit were complemented by his personal traits of kindness, reliability, and loyalty, which endeared him to many. He leaves behind several cousins, two half- brothers, and a multitude of dear, life-long, friends. Haigh's legacy is marked by his warmth and generosity, leaving an indelible impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

Services to honor Haigh's life were held on Saturday, June 22 at 4:00 pm at Willowbrook Cemetery in Edgefield, S.C. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
