Haley Evans-Ringwood Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 29, 2015.
Evans-Ringwood, Haley
18, of Phoenix passed away on April 21, 2015. Haley Ann Evans-Ringwood was born on November 21, 1996 in Oceanside, California to Rebecca Evans of Phoenix, AZ and Jared Ringwood of Menifee, CA. Haley was tragically taken from us on the evening of Tuesday, April 21st in a fatal traffic accident. She was instantly swept into the arms of her Lord and there rests in peace. Haley is survived by not only her parents but her sister, Zoey Ringwood; maternal grandparents, Jean-Marie and Jim Bellington of Tempe, AZ and David Evans of Phoenix, AZ; paternal grandparents Sally Ringwood of Sun City, CA and Paul Ringwood and Lynne Oxhorn of Carlsbad, CA; her great-grandmother, Doris Carpenter of Prescott, AZ; her aunts Daryl Ann O'Connell and Taylor Bellington of AZ and her uncle, Evan Oxhorn of Washington, DC; a gazillion great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Haley attended Arcadia High School and had plans to attend Yavapai College in the Summer. She loved dance and was involved in many activities at Arcadia. Haley loved and lived life to the fullest. Her award-winning smile, huge blue eyes and a quirkiness that entertained us all from the time she was a little girl. It seems everyone she touched has memories of Haley and how loved she is and fun to be around. Always laughing and a truly genuine friend to all she met. Haley recently attended Country Thunder 2015 where she was in her element. She shared that she went by herself but had already made friends in the parking lot before she got to the entry gate. She has an infectious personality and she will be missed by all. Our family is grieving and missing our sweet baby girl. She's the kind of young lady that anyone would be proud to call daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. We are holding tight to the following quote: "Grief never ends, but it changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith, it is the price of love." A Celebration of Haley's Life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the historic Maple-Ash Neighborhood at 1104 S. Ash, Tempe, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her honor to Children's Hospital, as some of you may remember "Haley's Joy", an annual donation that Haley started in lieu of birthday presents. We are thinking of you in Paradise, our Sunshine Princess, until we meet again....this is not goodbye, it's see you later, alligator!

I'm so sorry for your loss. May this verse bring you peace as it has brought me over the years. May they give you peace of mind and hopeful thoughts.

Haley was a dear friend to my cousin and I have been so moved hearing of her loss at such a young age... then I read her obituary of the beautiful person Haley was and how you have no doubt she is with the Lord in Paradise..so honoring and so loving. I cannot not imagine your pain at the loss of this happy and kind-hearted young lady, but I have been and will continue to lift you and all of Haley's many loved ones up in prayer as we grieve for those that are grieving. Your message of grief is such a good one and I am amazed at the hope it brings to others. From someone who has lost many precious people, please know I am so sorry. May God give you the strength to get through each day.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Haley's passing. It was truly a blessing to know Haley and watch her grow through her grade school years at Mirada. Her sweet little face always smiling and always having kind words to say to her classmates and friends. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. God Bless you.

We helped raise you along side your mom, from the very first second you were born. You are so loved on this Earth and now, likely the most adored angel in Heaven. I know the Lord introduced you to your Great Grandfather, Darrel, as you walked through the gates. And, every day, sitting next to him, will you let your rays of sunshine, touch my face, until we meet again in Paradise. XOXO ~ Nana

I will forever be thankful that I took Haley to lunch and a movie on the day she was promoted to Glory. She truly lit up a room with her infectious smile and personality. We miss you Haley Bailey and look forward to being with you in Paradise. Get to know your Great Grandfather - you two will really love each other. He's as goofy as you are!
