HALEY PARKER Obituary
HIGH POINT — Haley Anne Parker, 16, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Brenner's Children's Hospital following a courageous twenty-one month battle with cancer.
Haley was born in Chicago, IL, August 31, 1995, a daughter of Richard and Donna Cooper Parker. A resident of North Carolina the past 16 years, she was a member of Renaissance Road Church where she was active with the Youth group, Praise team and Wow team. Haley was a young lady of faith who had a great spirit, a beautiful voice and an amazing smile.
Surviving are her parents, Donna Marie Lawson and Richard Parker; step-parents, Hope Parker and Mark Lawson; sister, Calyn Parker, brothers, Joseph Cooper and Zach Parker; step-siblings; grandparents, great-grandmothers, family and friends.
A Celebration of Haley's life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by Pastor Jason Goins. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials should be directed to Brenner's Children's Hospital.

To Haley's Family,
I don't know you or Haley but my heart grieves with you. We lost a granddaughter almost four years ago who also was a patient at Brenner's and our family can certainly understand your grief but remember that you will see her again if you are a child of God and that she is so happy to be well and dancing with Jesus. You will always miss her and want to be with her but she will greet you with radiance in Heaven one day.

Haley is finally free of the pain this life brought her. In her brief life she became an inspiration to everyone who met her and a friend to my grand0daughter Lilly in her own fight with cancer. Haley is in god's memory resting until the day she will rise again with out the ilness that took her from us all. Darla and I love you Haley.

Haley was an incredible person. She lived more fully in 16 years and truly "got" what life was all about - than people triple her age. She was a light and one of the finest people I have known or ever will. Her joy was infectious, her smile contagious. She loved everyone without reservation and was quick to give an encouraging word or a warm embrace. She has impacted my life and I will never forget her.
