Dear Family, I'm very sadened to hear of the death of your husband & father. Pie and I grew up together in Elizabethville. We were friends and baseball team mates and graduated together in 1959. We almost enlisted in the navy together, but I tried something else. I think of him every time I go back home. I remember the fun times we had at his home and high school. Pie was truly a good person, and friend , one I will never forget. I send my love to all of you, and wish you well during this very sad time.
Sincerely,
John Hoffner
