HARRY BASTEDO
AGE: 85 JACKSON
Harry Bastedo, 85, of Jackson, died Sunday at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. Born in Freehold Township, Harry resided in Freehold Boro and Southern Pines, NC for nine years before moving back to the Freehold area. He worked as a weaver for A & M Karagheusian Rug Company in Freehold for over 29 years before his retirement in 1974.
Mr. Bastedo was predeceased by his wife, Frances in 2006; and his son, Donald in 1996. He is survived by his brother, William D. Bastedo of Jackson; a sister, Ruth Ohlberg of Jackson; a granddaughter, Tiffany Bastedo of Tucson, AZ; a niece, Marianne Tavernese; two great-nieces, Annette and Valerie; and a nephew, William Bastedo and his wife Risa of Howell.
A visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold Township.
