HARRY "H.E." EUGENE FERRYMAN
May 27, 1933 ~ December 29, 2015
Harry Eugene Ferryman, 82, passed away peacefully in his Vancouver, WA home on December 29th, 2015. Gene was born on May 27th, 1933 in Ohio and moved to Vancouver in 1945.
Gene became a prominent developer in Clark County in residential housing, apartments, commercial building, and 7 hotels.
Gene was married to Joanne Julian in 1955 and had three sons. After his divorce, Gene spent the rest of his life with his life partner, Shirley Klattenhoff.
Gene is survived by Shirley Klattenhoff; children, Lee (wife Shelly), Karla (husband Kevin), Brian (wife Kama), Steve, and Todd; sisters, Chris Winders and Peg Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gene was a proud and loving grandpa to his 8 grandchildren, Nicholas, Melissa, Christopher, Spencer, Matthew, Sydney, Macauley, Fox; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday, Jan. 8th from 12:00 to 5:00 at Northwood Park Funeral Home, Vancouver WA. Memorial service will be Saturday Jan 9th at 2:00, also at Northwood Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of your choice.

As a. Member of the Ferryman family for 30 years, I want to say, "Thank you for all the love and support shown to Eldon's family. I will always cherish all the airline flights to Spokane to visit Eldon when he was going through his cancer treatments. Those visits meant so much to him. Special thanks to Gene and Shirley for coming to our wedding when Alan and I got married. You always made us welcome and still part of the family when we visited you. RIP dear broth-in-law. You will be missed by many.
