Harvey Hynes Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Harvey Melvin Hynes of Norris Pt, NL, announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021, at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Ella Marie nee Watton, his children; Susan Lacey (Jim) of Torbay, NL, Juanita Hynes (Myles) of Alliston, Ont, Glenda Hynes of Norris Pt, NL, David Hynes (Jackie) of Norris Pt, NL, Lisa Hyde (Dean) of Pasadena, NL, Tracey Hynes of Norris Pt, NL, and Evan Hynes-Cooper (Billie) of Harbour Grace, NL, his brother; Reginald Hynes (Winnifred), his grandchildren; Bonnie Hynes (Joe), Jeffery (Loreen), Gillian (Kevin), Michael (Carly Jean), Brandon (Amy), Avery, and Olivia, his great grandchildren; Logan, Abigail, Aliyah, and Luke, his sisters-in-law; June Hynes, Susie Hynes, Winnifred Nippard, and Violet Watton, special family members; Don Downer, and Pauline Downer Leblanc, Harvey was predeceased by his parents; Gertrude and George Hynes, his brothers; Raymond and Richard Hynes, mother and father-in-law; Selena and Charles Watton, brothers-in-law; Gordon Watton, and Arthur Watton, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
A special thanks to the staff at Western Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, and the Wonderful staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, for their care and support and also Parsons Funeral Home, Deer Lake,
Donations to the Kidney Foundation and or The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation in Harvey’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
In keeping with the most recent Covid - 19 Government Regulations , a private graveside service will be held in the Anglican Church Cemetery, at Norris Pt, NL, at 1:00 pm on Sunday February 21st .2021, with Rev Green officiating.
