Hazel L. Tucker, a native of Roanoke, VA. Passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023. She worked for the Norfolk Public School System for over 35 years as an elementary school music teacher. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will hold a memorial service at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley on Saturday at 5:00 pm, viewing will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Homegoing Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Fellowship U.C.C., 1402 Gust Lane, Chesapeake, VA.

My prayers and sympathies to the family of Mrs. Hazel Tucker who was my elementary school music teacher, and with whom I had the honor of becoming a colleague in music education. She was a great lady and a great teacher. I will miss her.
