A pleasure to work with and learn from the man, who was always both down-to-earth and culinarily refined.

Our thoughts are with you dear Ivy, as you lost the love of your life. Heiko will not be forgotten - we loved and appreciated your man who had a great sense of humour, was incredibly kind and most of all - adored you! We know he will be in a better place without pain and suffering and one day you will be united again. Till then, stay strong dear friend. Lots of love from Dagmar and Mike

Family and Friends of Heiko Bendixen: My first experience of Heiko was in 1983 as a Baker at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City, while he was the Executive Chef. With his knowledge of food, his dedication for perfection, his passion, and the strictness adhered to under his guidance the world of culinary has lost a special man/chef. Everyone should have learned and experienced his European strength and the world of culinary would be different. Please accept my sincerest sympathy during this time and know that Heiko and touched thousands of people during his walk in life. His laughter, his voice, his knowledge and his memory will live on forever with those of us that knew him.
