Charlene was one of my favorite aunts! My best memory of her was when I traveled with her and my mom across country to Cheyenne, Salt Lake City and Denver/Colorado Springs to visit Charlene's daughters and their families, and my Dad, who was working away from home. For me, it was a trip of a lifetime, and moments shared with a wonderful, savvy, funny, Godly woman, who was a joy to be with. Charlene will be greatly missed.

I had the priviledge to get to know Charleen. I work at Windsor Gardens, and everyday I got to talk to her. She was the godliest woman that i know. She was such an inspiration to me. She helped to keep my faith strong. I know that she is heaven looking down at us all and giving us that beautiful smile of hers. I love you Charleen.

Charlene became a beloved grandmother to me with the privelege of marrying into this wonderful family. From our first rocking chair conversation on Van and Joan's front porch and her teaching me to crow-hook, to the visits to Knoxville to show off our baby girls and have them meet their great-grandmother, you just knew what a wonderful woman she was. The time I had to know her was too short, but I know she'll be shining down her love from heaven and keeping a watchful eye on my babies. She is truly an angel now.
