HELEN HALPERIN Obituary
On Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in her ninetieth year. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Cylena and Michael Cohen. Cherished grandmother of Melanie and Adam, Wendy and Lane. Proud great-grandmother of Ariela and Jessa. Predeceased by her dear siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Special aunt of Morris Pal and Barbara Sternzus. The family would like to thank Malka and her daughters for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, July 20 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Yishitzer Young Men's Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Jewish Eldercare Centre Auxiliary, (514) 738-4500 ext.: 8108.
