Helen Marie Huffstetler

Maryville - Helen Marie Huffstetler, 96 of Maryville passed away October 3, 2025. She was born February 7, 1929, to Glen and Alene Goddard Blevins. She and Terry Huffstetler married on March 20, 1964. They celebrated 53 years of happiness together.

Helen graduated from Friendsville High School, Maryville and Andrew Jackson University Nashville. She retired after 29 years as senior administrative assistant in the athletic department for University of Tennessee. She was a dedicated member of Carpenters Methodist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by husband, Terry Huffstetler; her parents, Glen and Alene Blevins; brothers and sister-in-law, Fred (Katherine) Blevins, Ed Blevins; infant sister; niece, Tiajuana Blevins; Terry's parents, Fred and Elizabeth Huffstetler; brothers-in-laws, Jerry Huffstetler, Raymond Hitson, Daris Richesin, Larry Best; sister-in-law, Joan Huffstetler; nieces, Susan Boling, Betty Jo Huffstetler, Mary Lynn Huffstetler.

Helen is survived by nephew, Tim (Jean) Blevins of Georgia and their daughter, Bethany Blevins; niece, Teresa (Alan) Hall of Madisonville and their daughter, Rachel Hall. In-laws who survive are Dwight Huffstetler of North Carolina, Loretta Best of Knoxville, Brenda (J.D.) Millsaps of Maryville, Mary Alice Richesin of Philadelphia; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Receiving of friends and family will be Sunday, October 12, 2025, 2:00-3:00 PM ET at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and the funeral service will be at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ken Tucker officiating. The burial will immediately follow at Carpenters Campground Methodist Church Cemetery.
