Helen B. Hulick

Helen B. Hulick, a longtime resident of La Crosse, Wis., passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at the age of 94. Born in Nanticoke, Pa., she moved to La Crosse in 1945, with her husband, the late Peter V. Hulick, M.D. Helen was an active member of the La Crosse Country Club and the Women's Auxiliary of the medical staff of St. Francis Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1971; her daughter, Patricia, in 1977; and her son Timothy, in 2007. Surviving is her son Peter and his wife, Mary, of Midlothian, Va.; her daughter-in-law, JoAnne, of Schwenksville, Pa.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Marion Chapel of St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, 530 Main St., La Crosse, Wis., with the Rev. Michael Gorman officiating. Interment will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home of La Crosse is in charge of arrangements. Those wishing to contribute to her memory are asked to consider the residents' activity fund of Meadowwood Assisted Living Center, 2904 East Avenue South, La Crosse.
