Helen was a woman with many qualities. She had ones in the kitchen and her love of sports. She was a wonderful hostess, where ever, you visited her,Violet St. or Laurel Wood.
I can attest to the proud she had in her children and grandchildren. A visit didn't go by without a mention of them.
It was my pleasure and honor to have had the time to spend with her. There will never be another card player or woman quite as special as she was.

Dear Donna, Gary, and Family

Words can't express our feelings with your mom's passing. Fond memories of great times together with Helen and George. Deep Creek Lake, football and basketball games, Thursday evenings at Leitenbergers, cruising, watching our kids grow up, and always we'll remember and cherish Helen's devoted appreciation and reverence to God's presence. Helen will be warmly greeted by the Heavenly Hosts, we are sure. You are in our prayers. Deepest sympathy.

Helen will be missed more than I can say. I will never forget her wonderful smile and attitude. She shared many great recipes with me but always made sure I had her name on them so she got the credit. I'm sure she will have a football pool going up there next season. I will always love and miss Helen.

My sympathy goes to all who will miss Helen. I enjoyed her great smile and the little wink she often gave me, as well as her "tell it like it is" attitude. I will cherish the memories and the recipes she shared with me. God will be eating well with both George and Helen there! We were blessed to be part of her family.

Years ago, Aunt Helen and Grandma (sister Olga) taught me the cheer below:
rah rah ree, kick them in the knee
rah rah ras, kick them in the other knee
I taught my sons the cheer (ages 5 & 2). Last night, my sons and I did the cheer in memory of Aunt Helen.
I have fond memories of Aunt Helen and will always keep her in my heart.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Ripple and Duranko families,

We're so sorry to hear of Mrs. Ripple's passing. She lived a long and full life and made a lot of friends along the way.

She took such a positive approach to living, even though she faced many adversities herself.

She was an enthusiastic singer, whether it was during Liturgy or during choir practice. Her support was always appreciated. She had a knack for light-heartedness. It wasn't uncommon for her to burst into song and have everyone chiming in! She was just fun to be around and happy.

She never forgot to mention our son and brother, Paul, after his unexpected passing. Her kind words of remembrance meant a lot to us.

We will miss her and will be thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
