Henry Louis Corona, age 75, passed away on April 7th, 2025. He was a beloved husband and father and dedicated friend who will be missed by all.

Henry is survived by his wife, Jean Corona and two daughters, Carmen and Catherine Corona.

Henry was born on March 30, 1950 in Miami, Florida, where he spent his formative years. He attended Miami High and excelled in sports and football. Henry was awarded a football scholarship to Grinnel College in Iowa where he earned a BA in Economics.

Mr. Corona held an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California and an MA in Economics from UCLA. Henry started his financial career as an Economist for Rand Corporation, where he worked on worked on a series of labor supply / labor demand studies in developing nations throughout the World, and participated in Secret and Top Secret studies for the United States Government.

Henry later worked as a Corporate Finance Strategist for LUCASFILM LTD. In his three years with Lucas film, Mr. Corona worked in all facets of the film company's corporate finance activities including investment management, strategic planning, film distribution, merchandising, and profit participation negotiation and accounting. His film experience includes, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Mr. Corona founded FinanceSur in Miami, Florida. His company that provided financial assistance for investment banking and operational objectives for 30 years.

Henry was a devoted husband and father and active member of the community and volunteer for organizations that were close to his heart. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and graciousness. He was always ready to give a helping hand and was a role model for others in his faith and commitment to caring for others.

A memorial was held with close friends and family, on April 25th, 2025 at his home in Glen Allen, Virgina.
