Henry Mankowski Obituary
On Monday, August 11, 2008. Beloved husband of 49 years to the late Esther; loving father of Claire and Michael Mankowski and the late Lynne Kush; grandfather of Adam, Rachael and Matthew Mankowski and Eric Kush; brother of Leonard and Robert Mankowski. Henry was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean War, he was a co-founder of the United Paper Works International Union Local 296 and served as Vice President and Steward of the Local for over 30 years. Friends received at the BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., Broadway and Shiras Ave., Beechview Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Thursday 10am. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

To the Mankowski family: We were so sad to read of the loss of your father. We often think of your mother and how your father was always at her side with a story to tell in Medical Short Stay. We will keep the both of them in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your father. He was always such a nice man whenever we would meet. Not sure if you knew or not, but my dad passed away this May - I guess he and your father are getting the angels to organize!
