Dear Grant,
I called my mom in Houston today and she told me your dad moved on. I'm remembering the fun times we all had @ WGHS, the grief we gave your dad and the happy surprize seeing him at the first (I think) reunion.
Mr. Walters was a very kind and patient dictator :-). I respected him greatly in my little, raucous, rebellious way. They don't make Principals like him anymore, alas.

Dear Mrs. Walters,
What an impact you and your husband have had on children across Guilford County! I still remember and appreciate you from my junior high math class. Years later, I had the opportunity to work for your husband at Western Guilford. Western was a well-run school and I treasure my years there. Please accept my condolences and know that you are in my thoughts.
