Hertchel Lee Wolfe

Hertchel Lee Wolfe, 79 of Shady Spring passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Born in Poca, WV, he was a son of the late Albert and Maureen Payne Wolfe. Hertchel was a supervisor for A & P in Chicago, Illinois for 23 years; and a coal miner for 12 years at Appalachian Coal Company. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Hertchel is preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Mann. Those left to cherish his memory, include his loving wife, Jessie Wolfe of Shady Spring; sons, David Wolfe of Chicago, IL, Hertchel Lee Wolfe, Jr. of Chicago, IL; daughters, Lavana Wolf of Chicago, IL, Theresa Wolfe of Chicago, IL; step-son, Bill Florek and wife Karen of Medina, OH; step-daughters, Krystyna Gerencir and husband Jeff of Charleston, WV, Barbara Sharer and husband Skip of Hayesville, NC; brothers, Shirley Wolfe and wife Jeanetta of Page, WV, Marvin Wolfe and wife Missy of Eleanor, WV, Delmas Wolfe and wife Nancy of Oak Hill, WV, Terry Wolfe and wife Beverly of Oak Hill, WV; sisters, Jean Mayberry and husband David of Southern IL, Frances Saylor of Chicago, IL and Mary Ellen Hicks and husband David of NC. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Delmas Wolfe officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
