Hubie gave his family a wonderful life. He worked so that I (Nanci) could have the freedom to be whatever I wanted to be. I chose family over all my other endeavors. The children were always helped and encouraged to enjoy and develop their interests and talents. Every one received the benefit of a college education and opportunities that colleged afforded them. Hubie was always proud of his family. We shall always treasure the memories and life of our Hubert L. Gerstman, magician, standup comedian, tuba player, actor, director, teacher, speech and hearing professional, husband and father.

Nancy, Evana and family:
How I treasure the memories of your anniversary party, Hubie sitting in the chairs here enduring those weird parties, dinner at your house, his so sweet, quiet personality. Fred was always astonished you guys came to his event and our events! I love and adore all of you and so did want Hubie to make it. I didn't want you to join this widowhood, Nancy! I couldn't make it to the morning service.
