Hugh Dyer, 83 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born in Bainbridge, OH on November 3, 1930, the son of the late Jack A. and Darline Hughes (Zimmerman) Dyer. Besides his parents he was preceded by one sister Carrie Lou Vance, brother James Dyer and brother-in-law Robert Hill. Hugh was a member of the Danville Church of Christ and the Highland Co. Antique Machinery Club. The bookkeeper for the Carnation Milk Company for several years and retired Quality Control Manager from Hillsboro Manufacturing, after retirement he sold automobiles for McFarland Ford. He is survived by his wife Anna Lou (Myers) Dyer, whom he married on December 31, 1952, son David Dyer of Washington Court House, three daughters Joyce (Mark) Ford of Hillsboro, Sherry (Bart) Barber of Hillsboro and LouAnn (Craig) Rosselott of Hillsboro, two brothers Guy (Doris) Dyer of Hillsboro and Jerry (Carol) Dyer of Hillsboro, sister Mary Ellen Hill of Frankfort, Ohio, brother-in-law Clifford Vance of Hillsboro, grandchildren Brooke (Ben) Lucas, Cassie (Caleb) Sellman, Kayla (Drew) Smith, Jon Barber, Chloe Barber and Christopher Ford and one great grandson Warren Lucas Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 22, 2014 at the Danville Church of Christ. 4917 St. Rt. 138 Hillsboro, OH 45133. Burial will follow at Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday February 21, 2014 at the Danville Church of Christ.
