Hugh's Wife Jeanette, Children Colin and Christine together with his Mum Bridget, Brothers, Sisters and extended Family would like to thank most sincerely all of our relatives, neighbours, colleagues and many friends for their support and expressions of sympathy in our recent bereavement. Our sincere thanks to all who attended the Funeral Home and the removal, the Funeral Mass and the burial, especially to those who travelled long distances to be with us  and to those who sent Mass cards, flowers, letters and messages of sympathy and to all who called to the house. Thanks to all those who gave donations to Cancer Research. Thank you to all the members of An Garda Siochana and Virginia Golf Club who provided the Guards of Honour. A special mention and thanks to Mr. Pawan Rajpal and Professor John McCaffrey along with all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff in both Cavan General and the Mater Private for their kindness and care during his stay in both Hospitals. A special thank you to Fr. Declan Shannon (Athlone) who celebrated Hugh's Funeral Mass and thanks also to the concelebrants Canon Liam Devine, Fr. Sean O'Dowd, Fr. Denis Gavin, Fr. Dermot Prior and Hugh's cousin Deacon Fergal O'Neill. We would also like to thank Fr. Dermot Prior (Virginia) for officiating at Hugh's Removal assisted by Fr. Sean McDermott. Thank you to all others who participated in the ceremonies - the Sacristan, Altar servers and stewards. A heartfelt thank you to Virginia Singers and musicians Bernard and Patrice Coyle, for their beautiful musical contributions. Finally to the Undertaker Arlene McNeill (Athlone) and John McMahon Funeral Home (Cavan) for the professional and caring way they carried out all the Funeral arrangements. Our sincere gratitude to the gravediggers for the attention to detail shown as you prepared Hugh's final resting place so beautifully. Since it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation for your kindness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
