Ian Bowyer Obituary
Son of Ellen and John (dec) Bowyer, beloved husband of Kate, proud father of Simone, Renee, Sassicca and Joshua. Loved pop of Asylle, Ilyas, Afnan and Leyla. Only brother of Madeleine Gross, and brother-in-law of Victor Gross. Uncle to Kyrenia Blanshard and Allen Gross. Respected doctor in Sydney, Bathurst and Newcastle NSW, Broome and all the Kimberley region WA. Loved by all who met him. Larger than life and a bushman at heart. A man of kindness, humility, reflection and inspiration. RIP dear father, husband, brother and pop.
A funeral will be held on Wed 27th August 2014 in Broome.

How can I ever forget Ian's kindness to me during a long and complex illness - even the week he died. I shall never forget you and Katie where remembrance counts most Ian. REST IN PEACE. LUCE

Have just heard That Dr. Bowyer died. So sorry for all of you, his family. He was a wonderful hematologist, who always had the time for his patients. Rest in peace gentle man.

Fortunate I was to have shared High School years with someone who left such a positive indelible mark on the world his footsteps padded through.
Couldn't catch him in the class room! He was too agile, too fast & too smart - by a fair way!!!
Managed a tackle or two on the Rugby field though.
