Dear Beth, I was just looking up Ian's phone number to call and wish him a happy birthday. Instead, I found his obituary; I am at a loss for words. I am truly sorry for your loss. Ian was a wonderful, kind and caring gentleman. I will miss him dearly.

I am so sorry to learn of Ian's passing. He was my 'twin' when we were children as we were born within hours of each other on the very same day, November 16, 1957. We attended each other's birthday parties, spent many fun-filled weekends with our families at Sechelt and on Hornby Island, and were good friends when we were little. I am saddened that his life was cut short and send sincere condolences to his family.
