Ida Lango (Mattivi) aka Eda, 68 years old, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Henderson, NV, surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a long 16 month battle with a very aggressive cancer. She fought courageously until the day God took her home. She smiled as she took her last breath in this life.
She was born on September 27, 1952 in Trento, Italy to Remo and Angelina Mattivi. She was raised in a loving family with her two sisters, Silvana Thomas and Mariella Mattivi (deceased).
She attended Madonna Catholic high school in Chicago, IL, followed by Wright college.
She worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years. In a career shift, she took a position as a pet sitter and continued this throughout her retirement years.
She loved all people, animals, her family and friends. She really loved horses and feeding the ducks at sunset park. She would always rescue animals and would help any injured animal that she could.
She was the most amazing Mother and Grandmother, a very caring and considerate woman. She was a beautiful person inside and out, always putting others first. Truly a selfless woman, touching the souls of all those she met.
She is survived by her loving family, Anthony Lango and her two daughters Gina Fenwick and Kimberly Lango. Her four grandchildren, Cierra Fenwick, Karissa Fenwick, Anthony Lango Jr. (deceased) and Alana Lango. Who all brought great joy to her years.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I went to Madonna HS with your mom. We all hung around with Ida back in the 70's when she drove around in her purple Charger. We had so much fun hanging out at Belmont and Central in Chicago. She was always so kind, sweet and so much fun to be with. I am passing this sad news to everyone we paled around with. You have my sincere sympathy.
