Ileene Tigner Obituary
DOVER, DE - Ileene R. Tigner passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Delaware Hospice.
She was born May 6, 1035, in Dover, Delaware.
Mrs. Tigner worked for the State of Delaware doing data processing for 33 years. She was a life member and past president of the Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Tigner enjoyed her time watching races with her late husband, John Tigner.
In addition to her to late husband, John B Tigner Sr.; she was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Killen.
Mrs. Tigner is survived by her son, John B. Tigner Jr. and wife Karen of Hartly, DE; her granddaughter, Angie Gooden and husband Jimmy; and her great grandchildren, Wesley, and Emily.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior. The interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to DE Hospice or Leipsic Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
