Imogene Myers Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Patterson officiating. Burial will be at 10:00am EST, Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Tippecanue Memory Gardens in Lafayette, Indiana.
Mrs. Myers was born January 7, 1929, in Indiana to the late Harold and Helen Allendurf.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth K. Myers and daughter, Shannon Joann Stalnaker of West Virginia.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her sons, Harold Hurt (Kathie) of Ohio, Jerry Hurt (Carol) of Alabama, Gary Myers of Indiana, Kenneth Myers (Linda) of Indiana; her daughters, Penny Siple (Jim) of Indiana and Cathy Deardurff (Joe); twenty three grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several aunts and uncles.

I remember my great grandmother as a humorous and caring person who had the touch of an angel and the strength of a bull. She was the best mother she could possibly be as well as grandmother. She took part in all the family activities, playing a key role in all of our lives. She always said she would make it to 100 but unfortunately she was cut short.... grandma... if you were here right now i would be glad to say you are my grandmother and the leader of this enormous,loving family. R.I.P. Grandma we all love you.

Harold and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mother so well and have some very good memories of times spent at your house.
