Iolanda N. Cumano, 84, of New Tripoli, died March 15 at Manor Care, Allentown. Born in Naples, Italy, she was married to Amedeo S. Cumano. She worked as a teacher of young students during her time in Italy. Survivors: daughter Carmillie Costagliola and husband Michael of New Tripoli; son Guiseppe Cumano, three grandchildren, Joseph, Michael and Bianca Costagliola, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Anthony and Mario Cumano. Services: viewing Friday evening 7-9 p.m. (tonight) at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Funeral service Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with another viewing 9:30 until 11 in the funeral home. Entombment at Grandview Mausoleum. Directions at www.eliasfuneralhome.com. Contributions: American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Iolanda. She was such a special lady and will be missed by many. Hold on to the many memories. I cried at first and in no time I was smiling talking about her. She will be watching over you all. Iolanda will always have a special place in my heart!
