CAMPBELL _ Irene Margretta (nee Faunch) 1920 - 2004 Irene Margretta Campbell (nee Faunch) of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Irene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all of her family. She leaves behind three daughters and two sons, Darlene Peterson (Ray) of Stettler, AB, Sheila Campbell, Pat McLean (Alex), Edward Campbell, and Ian Campbell (Myrna), all of Calgary. Also cherishing her memory will be her seven grandchildren, Debbie Parsons (Darren LaRose), Lyle Peterson (Tracy) and Troy Peterson (Jodi), Craig and Kevin McLean, Marie Hermanson (Dave), and Christine Campbell; four great-grandchildren, Laine and Koltyn Parsons, Kali LaRose, and Kayla Peterson; and sister-in-law Thelma Michell. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also mourn her passing. She is now reunited with her husband Allan; her parents, Edward and Margaretta Faunch; and her sister Evelyn. Irene will live on in the hearts of the people she touched. Her smile warmed our heart; her courage allowed her to live the life that she desired; her quiet wisdom guided our lives; and her humour made us all laugh. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Monday, April 5, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Roslyn Campbell officiating.
