Irene Cruse Obituary
WAVERLY: Irene Cruse, 97, of Cherry Street, Waverly, Ohio died 1:37 P.M. Thursday, 26 September, 2013 at Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly.
Irene was born 25 March, 1916 in Winchester, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ben William Mastin and Clara (Green) Mastin. On 24 March, 1941 she was united in marriage to Clarence William Cruse who preceded her in death on 18 September, 1967.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Wessel, Waverly; a son, Ronald Cruse and wife, Kathy of Chillicothe, Ohio; ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a brother, Omar Mastin and wife, Melba of Covington, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents and husband, three sons, Douglas, Ralph and Michael Cruse, a brother, Vernon Mastin and two sisters, Kathryn Watts and Dorothy Maret preceded Irene in death.
Irene a member of New Covenant CCCU and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, 1 October, 2013 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Walter Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 - 7 P.M Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until the service hour on Tuesday.
